     The Stag’s Creek development at the eastern gateway to the City of Shawnee initiated a positive, disruptive transition for the City and the perception both its citizens and the general public have towards Shawnee.  Formerly greeted on this high-traffic Shawnee Mission Parkway corridor with a pawn shop, raggedy used car dealers, abandoned restaurants and tired strip centers, the Stag’s Creek development initiated a preliminary $55 million investment into the trade area.  Anchored by the Stag’s Creek Professional Center, a 35,000sf office complex with Shawnee’s first underground parking, the City followed up these efforts with the redevelopment of the Nieman Road corridor to the west/north.  In 2018 QuikTrip will redevelop the southwest corner of Goddard & Shawnee Mission Parkway with a new, flagship store adding to the redevelopment occurring in the area.



The office building shell is complete and more than 50% leased with 1,000-7,500sf space still available including the whole third level.
